This is basically exactly why you do not use machine translation as a foundation for actual translation work unless you state up front that you have no intention of making a real translation, because this is the end result. It's maybe functional, but in no way an acceptable translation.

This is not the first patch to employ MTPE as a shortcut, but it is particularly tone deaf to deploy in this climate for a game about the people who made Sega what it is.
