a problem i have of many game designers is they think adding ownership and measure via score to something makes it fun key thing: rewarding and exciting =/= fun make the actual pushing of the rock more enjoyable so many games just use juice, score and customization to fluff otherwise dull games

Point being mobas have a perfect mix of elements that cause hostility: Zero-sum game with appearance of teamwork but individual success is highlighted, success is selfishly incentivized (kill steals), failure is shared and highly visible, enemy snowballing etc. Perfect Prison of frustration.
