Last week, the Fort St-Louis crew found a white tin-glazed vessel in one of the units. Initially thought to be a medicine pot, the remnant end of handle suggests that this might be a decorative piece for the table. #archaeology #fieldwork @novascotiamuseum.bsky.social @can-arch.bsky.social

This hand carved wood lounge panel fragment comes from the arch over the forward entrance to the First Class lounge, the area where RMS #Titanic broke in half before plunging to the ocean floor, hence the broken edges.
