We’ve lived with good old Roomba Todd for awhile now. As a vacuum Todd has been a great addition to the museum team at the @novascotiamuseum.bsky.social but when choosing a dual purpose vacuum and mop robot I would stay clear of the models that make you physically switch parts.

Poor Astrid has a cold. Trip to the vet day and all will be good but we did get some medicine to speed things along. Just glad it isn’t more serious as these floofs can’t tell us how they feel.

Sometimes when you buy things even from a good company it arrives in less than ideal condition. A good starting point is to contact the company for resolution before complaining on social media. Complain on social media when the company is not responding or is not living up to their promise.

I am so used to using Amazon to purchase things online that I felt scared using another company to buy something, like I was in 1999 ordering. Turns out it was fine. Thanks to i-beads for the prompt service.

Wind gusts well over 70km/hr last night so I am glad my neighbours put out their recycling for the morning pickup. As in I had to pickup a lot of recycling from the neighbourhood this morning. Sigh.
