Also, a lot of the prior authorizations delay and deny care in Medicare advantage, and some of the decisions are made by AI and not buy real people. A lot of people get discouraged from filing and appeal when they have the right to file several of them. Either way deny and delay care 🟰 MA.

I strongly urge people to consider Medigap and get away from M’care Advantage plans. It takes care of everything. My oncologist’s office discusses this with everyone because they watch people succumb to these plans mid-treatment and lose their coverage for chemo and other treatments. Be aware.

When first signing up for Medicare run from the advantage plans. Stick with non MA and a secondary, you can never afford to switch back once signing up with MA. Because after 6 months from first being eligible they can hold pre existing conditions against you to hike your secondary premium!

RESEARCH NOW: Open Enrollment for Medicare is Oct 15 - Dec 7 for 2026. I encourage those on Medicare (non MA), to research their supplemental/Medigap premiums.
