Reflecting on place in online education, students were invited to share their favorite places of learning. I've seen couches, cafes, workplaces, cosy library nooks, cabins overlooking lakes. The reflections on why these places are ideal learning spots are fantastic. Online learning is placeful.

I am lamenting the loss of community and engagement on the blue bird and finally find myself here. Last year, Twitter offered the opportunity for my students to engage in TweetChats about Open Ed. They were interesting, insightful, and well attended. This year, I have found no great alternative.
