I tried opening a Word doc, and I was prompted for the umpteenth time this week to install the Portuguese (Brazil) language pack. Since it’s a recurring issue, I decided to install it. How long could installing one language take? Almost ten minutes later, my download screen still looks like this:

Anyone have any hints on cleaning up #glitter? I got a fancy top, not realizing that it would shed glitter. Floor has been vacuumed and mopped. The glitter persists. So far, it is contained to the laundry room and the hallway, but I’m dreading the contamination of the rest of the house.

TIMELINE CLEANSE

I’ve been gone from social media for a couple of weeks because of my dad’s failing health. Now that he’s passed and I’ve had some time to grieve, I get back to BSKY, and it’s like this.

Most "professional writers" these days don't make their entire living off their writing, so if making a living off your writing is one of the goals, prepare to do a LOT of legwork yourself, because just writing isn't going to be enough. Promoting yourself & getting paid is a whole 2nd job at first.

For 2024, my #letterboxd year in review listed my most watched nanogenre as “Slapstick, Christmas, Cute”. For 2025, my nanogenre will probably be “Romance, Valentine’s Day, Death by Straw”. We saw two movies in the theater today. #filmsky

At long last, after nearly two years, I can finally post photos of what five months of my life looked like! I’ll avoid spoilery stuff for a few more weeks, but man, this was a whole ass thing and I’m glad so many of you are enjoying it! THE GORGE is on Apple+ now!

I’ve been working on our latest horror one-sheet. Last night, I FINALLY got all the beats figured out, & I was in the zone. I opened it up today, ready to edit. It’s definitely longer than a page. A couple of things need flushed out a bit more — It’s six pages. 1484 words. 🤦‍♀️
