Just finished reading Cameron Crowe's spectacular new memoir, THE UNCOOL. Cameron and I both began our careers as teenage rock journos for the San Diego DOOR. Cameron, of course, became music journalism’s Grand Exemplar, achieving heights I never even dreamed of. Highly recommended!

So honored to have been able to see the great Robert Englund receive his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with loving tributes from Heather Langenkamp and Eli Roth!

Virginia Feito’s VICTORIAN PSYCHO is an exercise in Victorian excess we usually find in contemporary stories. It’s unrelentingly dark, quite odd, and at times really funny. A tale of class warfare and familial revenge gone mad.
