I suppose there's no way to force the @wordpress.com back to the perfectly functional image editor is there? It now takes an extra click to interact wit the caption info. A completely unnecessary and frustrating new version, particularly if you're captioning / alt-texting lots of images.

Is everyone else getting these spammers? Within seconds of posting anything here one of these identical-looking accounts interacts with it. I'm blocking them all.

I can't be the only person who has a perfectly pleasant time of it on Twitter? It certainly helps that I fall in demographics that are less likely to be targeted for harrassment. Plus a combo of browser add-ons and muting keywords / blocking is a bit like wearing a shark cage I suppose.
