If I was ever going to suggest something is that if you're working on a big creative thing, work on a small thing on the side. Preferably something out of your comfort zone were you have to learn something new. Not only is it a break from big thing but you get ideas and new skill for big thing.

I sure do love following tutorials and it not working. Love that. That and falling asleep in the middle of them and having to rewatch them

Some news on my game(s) now that I'm back from break. I was given a very generous donation over the holiday and I've invested that money into some Unity middleware to make life a little easier and better. Which means I've been learning those which doesn’t make very good screenshots.

Do you know what the BEST thing about #gamedev is? Spending hours coding something then learning that there's already has a two click solution in the engine! CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THAT!

Right, I've really got to knuckle down and deal with Unity's notoriously bad UI system and make menus for my game... Or I could just make fun little gribblies for the wall in Blender and pretend I'm progressing... Hehe! Greeble is such a fun word...

Hi #gamedev ! Just a little reminder: FFS! USE VERSION CONTROL! After one big hot key fat finger I didn't notice resulted in 20 minutes of lost work instead of 3 hours!

Ever wonder why your choices don't matter in a "your choices matter" game? Well it's because gets complicated. FAST! Even with dedicated non-linier story writing tools. Tho I highly recommend it as it's a lot of fun making a "choose your own adventure" book!
