4PM Today (Friday, Sept 26): Protest at the Neil Smith Federal Building in downtown Des Moines in support of Dr Ian Roberts. Dr Roberts was detained by ICE in Des Moines and, apparently, driven to an ICE facility in Council Bluffs.

Uhhhhhh. WTH?

A 7 mile run this morning with temps around 85 and humidity over 70%. I ended up so drenched in sweat that my shoes were squeaking up the street and my hands all pruney.

New plant alert! So, I wrote a poem about her. She is beauty, she is grace. Her leaves are leaking all over the place. For real, some of the leaves are dripping. 🫠

I do not recommend doing a 4 mile run, followed by mowing the lawn. Especially since the lawn should have been moved a week ago… but life has been lifing.
