Status update: I have a wound that requires surgery, and after being on four courses of antibiotics in six weeks, I'm finally getting an urgent appointment with an NHS surgeon tomorrow. I was first referred by my doctor last August, but he wrote a pretty panicked follow-up. Here we go. 1/8
