Today’s struggle: for 40 years I’ve been working on getting my skills and resources to a point where I’m ready to make my dream game. Now that I am I realized that game isn’t what I want anymore.

Devastated to hear that @burgerbecky.bsky.social has lost her battle with cancer. I was lucky enough to be her roommate at KFest 2016 and was amazed by her knowledge and her vivaciousness! She will be deeply missed by all those her life touched. She is in Valhalla tonight!

Commodore are back after 47 trademarks bought, maybe now we can have a new 64 like a mini version or a full size one with sd cards and hdmi or some kind of sd device for the old machines and some new games and hopefully this will kick start the demo scene and magazines and shows

Knowing when to pivot. When to back track. When to give up. When to postpone. It's hard. I've just had to do all those things in the last 2 months as the day job has drained my energy from dream job work. That said I'm VERY excited for the game I accidently discovered while making something else.

I'm about to do the unthinkable...re-enter tutorial hell for fun. Work from the day job has burnt me out on things that 'need' to happen, but I'm also only happiest creating. So... I'm going to take a break, prototype and just do tutorials for a month or 2. See you all on the other side! #indiedev

It is done. The Creation Tool, the first tool I decided to put into Project AB and the most complicated tool the player can wield BY FAR... is finished. :) Well... technically. The ability to edit world properties isn't in it yet because that has to wait until I'm a bit further into it all. :P

I want to do something similar to the Tunnels of Doom combat. 1 move and 1 actions. These could change with status effects. Opinion: players end their turn by? 1 - Tab to next character, and end entire turn with a button. 2 - Force each character to clear out with a 'pass' on unused actions.
