i don't know which AI system my friend tried but it refused to believe Carney, the current PM of Canada was the PM. even after they challenged the AI system it doubled down and was still wrong. for whatever reason these systems are being adopted and they should be viewing with extreme scrutiny.

Bradford, of course, isn't the one to do the heavy lifting of police reform either. So we're staring down the barrel of another election cycle in which policing gets a free pass.

This is absolutely true. The presidents we would have previously held up as examples of corruption have been repeatedly lapped by Donald Trump.

customer support sent me an email today saying that they've refunded $5 but then i check my account and they've double dinged me for my single trip because i messed up the taps. so instead of paying $17 for my trip, i've paid $34 and of course you can't reply to those emails so here we go again 😕

if AI is indeed making bad citations and making things up, it's basically a typical teen on a essay deadline and therefore far too immature to be considered for work.

What's so frustrating is that there are some benefits to having digital records. Particularly is you use a clinic with multiple doctors but this is why people don't trust. AI, if it will ever be the solution, is not stress tested enough yet. As this makes apparent

There was a 10k run today down Yonge Street and of course someone complaining it messes things up. Really, you can't check the news or social media to see what's going on. If you live in a bigger city, or any city, during the summer there are events almost every weekend. Get over it.

I continue to be flabbergasted that other (non-insane) governments aren't making similar changes. The Canadian government won't shut up about how important "digital sovereignty" is, and then it pours resources into posting everything to Twitter and Facebook.

Didn't have anywhere specific to be this morning but the sun was shining so went downtown. Too cold to sit in the park. The church had a welcome sign out but I was bogged down by bags. I have been into this church before but it's always fun to see the insides of these buildings.

it's the 21st century. we shouldn't be fighting for funding or debating if transit is affordable. we're in a climate crisis and we should absolutely have access to transit. but that also means it needs to be funded and be intercity. we should be cancelling car ownership.
