I've been doing a silly self challenge of drawing some pokemon with my non dominant hand, here's some of the request I've gotten :] #pokemon

WORD! I grew up dirt poor and I always had some cheap pencils, an eraser and a notebook (even with lines or grids) to draw on. There's so much more art than digital art. And you DO NOT need an expensive monitor! My drawing tablets were max 40e. FireAlpaca is free, too.

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

the only good thing about genAI is that it got me to really love seeing bad art, because I know a person put in time and effort, made themselves vulnerable by showing it to others, and is trying to improve. I value that more than anything now
