Ok @worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com, you folks knocked it out of the park with Undermine. It's extremely detailed & thematic, the music blasts, and DRIVE is neat. If the raid measures up, this could be one of the best patches in a long time. (Also DRIVE makes me motion sick, but that is a me problem)

We have a very strange guild trend. We've been a Mythic guild for three tiers, and the one class nobody ever wants to swap to is Hunter. Hunter recruits don't stick around (or even show up to interviews sometimes) either. Given how popular the class is, that strikes me as really odd.

I had to raid lead Ky'veza prog tonight, that was a surprise, but it was actually pretty fun. Brought in a bench player so I could do it from the "21st raider" slot, that was a fun and interesting challenge!

In other news, Horizon Forbidden West is awesome and I think I'm going to try to 100% this game. It's slightly buggier than the first game was, but nothing game breaking so far. It's very pretty, has incredible sound design, and improved systems. This is quickly becoming a franchise I love.

I'm glad alts can fly on Siren Isle now, but why wasn't that the default? Why are we, as players, testing things that almost certainly nobody will like? I genuinely hate being negative about it, but for a game with a sub fee, I expect more. I'm sure that the ground-level devs are doing their best.

Normally I hate being negative in spaces like this but man, I hate the Siren Isle. I'm very glad for folks who enjoy it and the lore around it, but I just can't get past how very dull it is, and how frustrating it is that I have to do the ring upgrade questline on *every* character to unlock flight.

I think it's pretty bogus that there's no Glory of the Hero for TWW, at least not yet. Those dungeon achievements are often fun. The seasonal format makes it harder to implement, but I'd still like to have one to work toward.

Horizon: Zero Dawn is a very good game so far. The story is compelling, the combat is solid, it's quite pretty, and I feel like they did a great job with the port. The sound design is perhaps my favorite part, though. The music sets the mood so very well, especially in the outdoor settings.

This old classic still rings true.
