I put a small piece of an air plant I was given in Majorca 20 yrs ago on top of a recently pruned camellia and was thrilled to see these lovely flowers emerging this week. One plant that needs no care whatsoever , and from one small piece I've had so many to share💚

The adult Robins are no longer feeding the 4-6 juveniles in my garden , just occasionally they come together but the youngsters seem to be managing well on their own already. I've never had so many survive and show up together before. @dorsetwildlife.bsky.social @dorsetbirdclub.bsky.social

My garden is full of baby Robins though it's difficult to know how many. Six fledged from my potting shed and I've seen at least four today .The adults only produced one from their first attempt and it is still around showing more colour now @dorsetbirdclub.bsky.social @dorsetwildlife.bsky.social

Found a bit of water in a bog at the side of the track at Morden Bog and spotted a few odonata +.one 4 spot chaser 1 female banded demoiselle, note the colour change according to direction of light ,2 Azure damselflies, also a Blue tip & a pair of Large Reds no pics

My garden Robins are working hard feeding their young still hidden in the scrub over the wall at the bottom of my garden The weather hasn't been too kind to them since they fledged but hopefully all 6 have survived.I've been hiding suitable food from the mags & pigeons to help🤞

I needed to go into my potting shed this morning and glanced as I always do at the Robin's nest in the corner of the bench and it was empty 6 fledged. I can hear soft sounds at the bottom of my garden in the wild patch over the low wall and both Robins are feeding them. So 🤞
