I share the worry of trans people at the prospect of PM Wes Streeting. At Health he ignored the voices of young trans people and restricted gender-affirming care, causing harm to a generation. It is up to Labour to choose its leader, but members must also choose a better direction on trans rights

The Guardian ran with this story yesterday declaring Wes Streeting not popular amongst his own party; let me be perfectly frank … he’s not very popular with the British public either, however, private health companies do like him!

Was remembering being ten pound poms yesterday when my family emigrated to Australia in the 60s - I wonder if my memories are genuine or created by photographs and cine movies. It was OVER 50 years ago. Must have took so much courage for my parents to move to the other side of the world.
