Monday, January 5th, 2026 It didn’t stay this sunny for long! Currently we have thunderstorms although not much rain, and a heatwave warning until Thursday. Today is nominally 26°C but felt worse. Four days above 30°C this week!

Sunday, December 4th, 2025 We’ve had a couple of lots of rain, and some thunder during the day. About 15 minutes of it was very heavy. It supposedly got to 28°C, but it didn’t feel like it. We had a quiet day at home, the housemates mostly kept out of the way.

Right from when the anti-trans campaign was started, about 9 years ago, the aim has been to attack the very idea of people existing in anyway other than what the Christian Nationalists approve of.

Seriously, if you have the urge to comment on trans healthcare and haven’t previously, try this first: Read comment threads on it for at least 3 days, saying nothing. Find out if the answers to your remaining questions or thoughts are easily searched for. Have a direct chat with a trans person.

Saturday, January 3rd, 2025 Lots of thoughts and processing of emotions today. The weather was a temperate 25°C, and there is a chance of thunderstorms still. I woke up around 9am, heard housemates in the kitchen, decided to keep sleeping.

Friday, January 2nd, 2026 Cooler than originally predicted, about 19°C today. We rested at home, it was largely quiet, but we certainly didn’t have the place to ourselves. Not ideal, had to wait to make breakfast, but it wasn’t long.

Thursday, January 1st, 2026 New Year’s Day The thunderstorm did indeed turn up last night, not for long, but it was very close. I am noise-sensitive most of the time, but at one point I actually jumped 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ there must have been more rain at some point, and it seems to be light rain now.

The situation that I’m in is really damaging me. My dad called, and I didn’t do a wonderful job at containing my frustration.
