Just got my tickets to San Francisco, where I’ll be joining my new employer onsite. It’ll also be my first-ever trip to the US - how cool is that? 🤩

Last week we were able to present @robpalmer.bsky.social with his physical Ecma Recognition Award! 🎉 This was followed by an extensive round of tributes and praise, which Rob endured somewhat uncomfortably, at every opportunity urging us to cease and attend to the waiting celebratory Temporal cake.

Designers don’t understand engineering. Most frontend engineers have probably thought this at least once. But I’m starting to think the opposite problem is just as common: many frontend engineers don’t understand design well enough to have a real conversation about it. 1/4

Fun fact. Despite the initial attempt I decided to go back to Notion. Maybe I'll regret it, but despite the fact I love the idea behind @obsidian.md, it stills feels not as Mac-native as Notion. Go hate me for liking pretty things 😂

Isn’t em dash inserted when you press hyphen twice? At least this is how it works in PL mapping. Em dashes are commodity in Polish and I’m just used to them. However, I found myself using en-ones instead just not to be accused of overusing AI. Not sure if that is a valid English though.
