Baby’s nap times are totally cooked because of the heat so I’m just trying to roll with it 🫠 Speaking of rolling, she rolled today! So we’ll just say she needs extra snooze time because of that.

My new search engine is DogDog.org which is Yahoo which is a skin of Bing but at least there's no AI summaries when I search.

The stress of keeping a baby cool in this heat is not enjoyable

After a very difficult April due to PPD, I took another month off work & went to my GP & started meds. I feel like a different person. I go back to work part-time next week and while I am looking forward to stepping back into things, it feels foreign. My whole world has shifted for the better.

Trying to get a baby to nap in this UK heat is special. And in case anyone is like, its not that hot her, my parents who live in ARIZONA found it very warm and hot a few weeks ago. It’s a heavy heat.

PPD is hell

I have so many complicated feelings when I think about going back to work in May even if it’s part time. I did not expect motherhood to smash my identity into pieces and rebuild it the way and to the extent it has.

Making steak for the first time in over a year (refused to eat a well done steak while pregnant) and trying not to set the fire alarm off 😌 doing it right

No one prepared me for how emotional it is when your baby outgrows things. First newborn clothes? I’m crying. Attached to these pieces of cloth. Her newborn car seat inlay? I’m truly unwell.
