Working on my next blanket. #crochet Grandma's Flower Garden. My first flower. It will take me 6 months to a year to complete. The pieces are not sewn together yet. I need to block the individual pieces before I assemble them. Then a second blocking of the flower before sewing it in the blanket.

#crochet I make crochet throws that look like vintage quilts my grandma made in the 1940s-60s. I wanted to share one I just finished. There are 288- 3x3 squares assembled into 72 6”x6” blocks and 2500 It also has tails woven in.There is no pattern for this throw as I designed it myself.

#crochet helpful hint for today. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this sooner. I an making a large throw with many different colors. When i take the band off the skeins of yarn I now flatten them and tie a sample of the yarn through the middle so it can’t slip off.
