I don't know what's come over me. Two blog posts in a week and another one already brewing in my head. (Actually I do know what's come over me... that's the subject of the next one.) Finally learned the "right" way to do dotfiles, and learned Brewfile and 1p ssh-agent in the process!

Standardizing on writing documentation in Markdown turned out to be great for feeding into LLM's. working on a big refactor. Fed in the CFDocs json files as CFML syntax reference, as well as testbox docs repo, and man, the generated tests are a thing of beauty, one-shotted.

Nothing like the clarity of working for years without a performance evaluation and then finally getting one. As dreadful an exercise as it feels when they're regular, it's a breath of fresh air when they're not. Feeling energized and ready to buckle down on my weaker spots.

Today's @netlify.com issue: I upgraded a site to the latest version of Eleventy, which requires at least node 18 (😱). Previously using node 12. Updated Netlify build config to use node 24. A half dozen build attempts, and it's been using node 16 for every one of them. WTF. I should move it to Vercel

I've been using Warp terminal. I like: it feels faster than iterm2, being able to share cmd+result with a URL (could live without it). But I hate the way they're trying to shove AI into the terminal experience. Ghostty is too barebones for me. What other terms would you recommend?

I am so fed up with Autodesk Fusion 360. I might just switch to OnShape and let my designs be public. Fusion 360 is SLOW AS HECK even on an M1, takes forever to start, forcibly logs me out every time I open it, and now they seem to have gotten rid of free for non-commercial? Enshittification.

This is not a responsible approach to (anything). If you're submitting 10 PR's _per hour_ (never mind doing other work too) then there's absolutely ZERO chance you're actually reviewing the generated code for ... anything.
