There's going to need to be an exhaustive litigation of the many, many laws that are being broken. Big boy/girl sentences need to be doled out. And it'd probably be worth revisiting how pardons work while we're at it.

Man, if you thought naming in design systems already was important, it's only going to get more so from now on. Seeing how much LLMs assume/project meaning to something based on its name is *bonkers*.

After reading this, I am compelled to share it. It has me thinking quite seriously about the photos I am willing to share, which Iāve already been very intentional about. No one should have to go through this, no one should be allowed to use any technology to do this.

Hey
@figma.com
, explain to me why certain REST API features are only available behind the Enterprise pricing tier. Explain why we have to pay more per license for a feature that obviously will not be used by more than 1-2 people in an org. Why can't this be an add-on feature paid independently?

I've been grinding to get my four year old laptop back into tip-top shape. It's easy to not neglect maintenance and then feel like you "need" to buy a new machine. But a little TLC and cleanup can work wonders. Doesn't hurt the wallet either.

Listening to a podcast that's absolutely cooking Eight Sleep due to their beds being unusable due to the AWS outage. And rightfully so. Beds don't need subscriptions. The market should have suplexed this product from day one. It should have never been allowed to exist. Don't buy crap like this.

It's starting to feel like our current generation of "smart" products need to replace "smart" with "vulnerable". The recent AWS downtime hits that home more than ever. Call me bonkers, but I like my coffee mugs, shirts and beds dumb.

Man, iOS 26 is jank. Not opinionated. Not competent, but divisive. Just jank. I can deal with a design that I don't preferāas long as it's well executed. I can't say iOS 26's design checks either box.
