Another Leicester Comedy Festival. Saw 14 shows over 3 days. Yet again I’ve been thrilled, baffled and inspired by an abundance of my favourite kind of comedy: early drafts, full of reckless experimentation and joyful curiosity.

I’ve finally finished writing the first song for my William Tell show. It’s a big opening number called ‘Switzerland is a State of Mind’ and it’s in B major (with a middle bit in G major).

Edinburgh Fringe 2026 run confirmed. Full announcement to follow at a strategically well-timed moment. I’m excited.
