Meh. I find this deeply unconvincing, ad hoc, & actually wrong. š§µ 1/ <Nominal> gas prices at are 2011-14 levels, ~$1.80/gallon below 2022 levels. If this is the price everyone sees most, it is not signaling the current vibes of the Uber drivers or the everyman about "food & fuel."
