20241029 Ironclaw One of the best movies i've watched this year, it's about a family of wrestlers trying to make it big but man it's a rocky fucking road. A surprisingly "asian" story that makes me clench my fists on some scenes because it is that familiar to what we experience. Interesting pacing-

DreamWorks has made some dark scenes over the years and I still think the last plague in The Prince of Egypt is still one of their creepiest. I think it's the excellent sound design that gets me more than anything. It's so quiet yet exceptionally haunting.
