Going to strongly echo Emma's statement about the importance of accessibility, and also highlight how lending decks shows what your format is about. It's not enough to say your format is affordable. So is staying in bed. Show people why it's fun!

It's things like this is why you're seeing more Value Vintage, Pauper, and Premodern cropping up in local communities and game stores. Getting one person into a Pauper (for example) is still something to take away and is a sign of growth, Paupergeddon wasn't built overnight etc, etc.

why premodern is the best format: You can play control, combo, and aggro across a wide range of colors and every color has a range of answers to target specific metagames, threats are powerful but have counterplay across the range of good decks, and there are tier 1/1.5 decks that cost under $200.
