Making a very odd Cuban dish called tasajo. Takes 2 days to make because you reconstitute a wildly salty fat-coated beef jerky, boil into oblivion, marinate it in lime juice, then cook it in tomato sauce. Day one of the process is finished. I really hope this isn’t a disaster.
