I was thinking about giglio the other day. If I am arrested by ICE agent Smith and alledge he beat me during the arrest I wonder if I could cross him with videos of him beating migrants/ protestors. We've never had this amount of up close violent LE videos. Will be interesting to see how it goes.

Also: real or not, it means anyone who said there was nothing implicating Trump in the Epstein Files was lying. You can decide this was fake, you can decide Epstein was embittered and deranged and lying, but it implicates Trump (accurately or not) and it's in the Files.

The third possibility would be that someone working at the prison, or connected to a prison worker, knew about the letter, and then immediately after Epstein's death they made a fake letter and sent it. Unlikely, but the guess would surely be impossible. Occam's razor says it's real though.

so, if it’s a hoax, that means a) some prankster somehow guessed that epstein would send a letter to nassar and decided to send another one themselves, or b) somehow this particular record in DOJ files was faked/inserted. tbh, neither of those seem more likely that the simple explanation

i mean, previous reporting (long before anyone could’ve known this would leak) confirms that he a) did send a letter to nassar, b) within a couple days of his death, and c) it did not reach nassar and was returned.
