Cap'n Bone Spurs spoke his brains to Sky News. It's not just deaths in Iraq & Afghanistan count for nothing, the "defensive sorties" in the Gulf right now don't count either. And in six years time we'll be back in the same position because the Dems will let things lie.

Truly, the job market is one of the places where our baffling relationship to AI is laid bare and with extreme consequences. Do we use AI because the job description was written by it and your application is being checked by it, or listen to the folks saying they can’t believe anyone would use it?

I recently hired someone. During the search, finalists submitted timed written essays. One of my colleagues flagged two responses as AI when reviewing. Different tools showed different likelihoods of AI use, from 3%-70%. Then I plugged my original writing in and it said 80% AI. We are cooked.

Evergreen. Block and ignore. Also—and I hate that I have to add this—if someone DMs you with weird rumours, don’t respond. Block them. Trolls spread disinformation through unverified claims. Smear campaigns thrive in secrecy. If you want clarification, ask the subject of the rumours directly.

Yeah, having now slept on it properly, it is weird that no losing parties statement really reckons with why people might have chosen the Greens and instead they all chose to blame sectarianism. It does suggest that they still don't really recognise people who vote Green as, you know, real people.

Crossed with the Bayer names this would work well. Also Oxon has two different villages called Wootton because of shifting admin boundaries. Similar would make for great missed deliveries “Ah no, this is for Ottery-by-Gamma Aurigae, This is Ottery-juxta-Beta Tauri”. Or stars as county names.
