Such a fun game! We played a short campaign that everyone enjoyed. I also used it to teach a college class about Worldviews! (With generous permission from the creators!) Don't sleep on it!

I finally found a mint copy of Mage 20th Anniversary deluxe edition!!! The "regular" one still holds a special place in my heart because of how I stumbled upon it. (Ask me about it. It's a cool anecdote.)

If I'm being honest, deep down, the old World of Darkness is still my favourite setting ever. Shadowrun comes close 2nd. And that is despite 20+ years of playing mostly other games.

I believe most ttrpg GMs have a game they deeply love but never get to play enough. Mine is Mage: the Ascension. Amazing magick system, deep philosophical ideas, hope and rebellion as themes. So much to love! What's yours?

Last night, we played the one-shot prequel scenario "Rise of the Cult of Bliss" by @worldchamp.bsky.social It is written for Mörk Borg and is the origin story for the vampire punks game Blood Borg. We used PCs from our previous MB campaign because one of them was a follower of Blood God. 1/

I've 99% of Farewell to Arms REDUX from @rivetheadgames.bsky.social and it's definitely one of the best Borg games that's not from Stockholm Kartell! There's only one thing I'm not sure I got right: squad combat rules for anything bigger than a 5-men squad Anybody could explain?

As a GM, I've decided that I will always have at least one backup campaign in case we miss someone for the main campaign. Ideally, I'd also like to adopt a practice where even for main campaign, if we have minimum 3 players who can make it, we play. But, atm, I'd feel bad doing so to our group.

Last night, we concluded our short campaign of Agon 2e by @johnharper.bsky.social We played 5 islands over several months as it was our backup campaign. Tons of fun and I'm very happy we chose that game since it was easy to resume on the spot. 10/10 highly recommend

Next campaign is in the works! I offered 3 games by @worldchamp.bsky.social and the group picked Blood Borg. Prequel will feature our MB characters from a previous campaign!
