The Athletic reporting on a new format for the EFL playoffs that could potentially see the eighth-place team win a chance at promotion. Clubs are set to vote on the 5th March on the proposal. Quite frankly, it’s an absolute disgrace that sixth can now be promoted, let alone eighth. Ridiculous.
