This weekend I had the chance to stop by the Harvest and Hounds Market at Ray Friel Recreation Complex — and what a fantastic event! 🐾 From local vendors to wagging tails, it was the perfect mix of community spirit and fall vibes.

This morning’s Walk of Ages with the Council on Aging was a powerful reminder of why seniors matter so much to our community. Ottawa thrives when older adults are respected, included, and supported — and it was great to see so many familiar faces showing up for that message.

This morning, I joined Mayor Mark Sutcliffe and Mayor Maude Marquis-Bissonnette to announce the launch of Communauto FLEX in Ottawa and Gatineau. With 30 vehicles available through this pilot program, residents will now have more flexible and affordable ways to get around.

It was great to meet with His Excellency Micheál Martin, Taoiseach of Ireland, along with Ambassador Concannon and members of the Irish Society here in Ottawa. A special opportunity to connect and share in the strong ties that continue to link Ireland with our city and community.

Stopped by the Council on Aging today to visit the 55 Alive Driver Refresher Training. It was great to meet with the instructors and participants, and to see firsthand the important work being done to keep our community safe and confident on the roads.

What a celebration yesterday at Dominion City! 🎉 The air was filled with bubbles, laughter, and the sweet taste of mini Suzy Q doughnuts, perfectly paired with a fine Dominion City lager. 🍩🍺

Today I attended the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Memorial Ceremony in Ottawa with several of my council colleagues. It was a moving and powerful moment to honour and remember those who lost their lives in the line of duty.

I had a discussion with the Mayor’s office about priorities for the 2026 budget — including projects that remain unfinished and new items residents have raised with me.
