Charging anything is a bad decision in my book, but charging as much as they are is insane. $40 USD for both events is a big ask. That's 5 months of Netflix. Do they really think getting to watch Capcom Cup a week early is the same value proposition as FIVE MONTHS of Netflix?

Capcom is asking a young, stereotypically-broke, and highly tech-savvy group to pay $40 to watch something they had been able to get for free for years. I don't see that working out well for them.
