I also had a positive experience in A&E recently. 4 hours, a CT scan to check for brain bleed and stroke, loads of tests. Sent home with - Labyrinthitis, which was awful but not as bad as they initially thought. All for free. Privatising the NHS would be tragic.

Still buzzing after the success of this - there’s work to do before the next meeting.

I held the first autism advisory meeting today. A group of 5 young people and me. They were engaged and invested in my research. They gave me so much to think about. What a privilege it was to discuss ideas for data collection and research qu with them. They’ve made my PhD so much more meaningful

Six weeks ago, I picked up a year-old tawny owl with a broken leg off the main road near our home and dropped him off at our nearest vet. After a few days, I received one of the most bizarre phone calls I’ve ever had, asking “So when are you coming to pick up your owl?” 🧵

I have spent hours reading around philosophy in all sorts of text types. This book, that I bought for £3.50 from a secondhand online book seller has finally helped me to understand what I’m doing and why. It’s definitely not ‘word wank’ as my friend Katie calls academic writing.
