As I say here, there is no scientific justification to revoke the engagement finding. In fact, over the last 15+ yrs, the evidence of how climate change affects our health has only grown. Higher risk of allergies, dementia, fertility, heart disease, and death: thatās whatās on the line.

There is No Scientific Justification to Revoke the Endangerment Finding
The U.S. EPA's decision to repeal the Endangerment Finding will limit the government's ability to regulate emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases under the Clean Air Act.

can you help me explain what I just saw on the Pacific side of Costa Rica? A shrimp in a tide pool that didnāt match anything that should be in the area. But it sure looks like a spotted bumblebee shrimp to me! iNaturalist is silent for the moment. Anyone know?

Hi! As I am not very available for commissions these days BUT still receive requests from researchers looking for artists who can do scientific illustrations of arthropods and inverts, I am updating my list of potential artists, so please, if you know arthropod loving artists, let me know!

working on a pattern for these reusable gift bags for a local sustainability workshop Iāll lead in Dec. Made from

In space, Venus flanks Earth on the left, with a hellfire greenhouse effect. Mars on the right, which long ago had running water. Today, it's bone dry. Something bad happened on each planet. Seems like the wrong time to limit the Nationās capacity to conduct climate research.

Insta served this up to me this morning. Other countries are courting our scientists with promises of stable funding, secure jobs, and academic freedom. We lose our smartest at our peril. š
