chilly rain and wind don't bother Tarry at all, but as soon as there's snow he's bundled UP. he does not handle real cold well at all. this man was SUFFERING in heavensward, lemme tell you

tarry gets very flighty when stressed. keeps picking stuff up to fiddle with it and putting it down within seconds, starting to pace and then stopping, repeatedly flexing his hands. he also laughs reflexively at times, which is confusing for people who don't realize this can be a stress response

Tarry has no clue who his parents were. His mom is almost definitely dead, but his dad? Who knows. Tarry doesn’t really care - he considers his mentors (retired pirate who took him and Ahtza in, and the crew of the first ship he worked on) to be close enough. They were not without their issues tho
