Kyler Murray just shared during his first comments to local media that he and Kevin O’Connell go back to Murray’s Elite 11 days. He also said O’Connell, then with Washington, pulled him aside after a Combine meeting and the two have kept in touch since.

I'd expect a couple QB additions, yeah Murray’s injury history is largely two issues: ACL, foot 2025: Foot (12 starts) 2023: ACL recovery (9 starts) 2022: Hamstring (2 starts), ACL tear (4 starts) 2021: Ankle (3 starts)

O'Connell essentially turned the Vikings offense into a shotgun-dominant operation since McCarthy couldn't handle the footwork from under center. Why not see if McCarthy can do what Kyler does well. At this point, premiere QB play is the only goal regardless of where they get it from.
