I've had this headcanon of replacing the music behind the last big ShB cutscenes with Emet-Selch in them. I finally put that to the test today and unfortunately it works SO much better than I originally imagined to the point I've hurt my own feelings.

Liu had a travel companion that was a spouse. I've had to retcon that lore due to the irl events that I don't play with that person anymore. The lore reasons behind so many gposes with that au'ra remain a wip. I'm settling on them being a projection Emet used to push Liu into the first*

Liu if not sporting appropriate armor for his job, almost always is in some type of formal attire (business casual at best) outside of that he rotates three casual outfits. (Some variant of leisure wear set or pvp tech gear) this was from the influence of his prior travel companion.

Do you ever just become a fan of someone's particular WoL just like you would an NPC in the game? I have a small list of those I love hearing about their adventures. I get giddy about them. I'm always right there in the distance, waving the fan banners of those characters.

A Daiso opened up in my area. I now have the means to make *more* custom merch. I love it. im going to need to learn how to print photocards now~

Upon gaining interest in custom job stones. I've adopted the headcannon that the current holder of said stone it will change to reflect them/their energy when they are that job. It's why I'm excited for my DRK stone with Amarout reflected in it. It's very fitting for Liu and ShB.

He was birthed from my simple desire to play Viera, and start a new character that wasn't tied to a friends WoL as a spouce. 😅 From there his backstory has become one long collaborative project with everyone I play with giving me feedback on details of Liu/his development. I love him for that!!

Currant Purple. It reminds him of traveling frequently with friends and believes it to be the most flattering of the darker colors for his complexion/hair. It also matches his makeup (the little stars on his face!!)

Banyue was their "forest surname" relating to when the men of their family were born (all born on days that correlated to half moons). The only part of the woods he keeps with him. Liu just the easiest moniker he learned how to read and write when coming to Limsa I suppose.

13th Sun of the 4th Umbral moon. Liu is aware of his name day, but doesn't celebrate. Often there has been no one around to celebrate with so he finds it a moot point. He wouldn't even know what to do if he did celebrate. He's received gifts but never a nameday gift. (He would TREASURE it)
