I feel like it’s interesting how the non-main character healer in Pathologic 2/3 fails their bound, and how in P3 Artemy doesn’t really fail the other ruling family’s children (Capella and Khan) so much as he just never really has his fate tied to theirs, vs. how essential Sticky and Murky are.

true ending of pathologic 3 achieved, honestly an incredibly gratifying experience to do it without any guides, i like playing games on release just to force you to experience them without the fallback of "what if i just look this up"

My full review of Pathologic 3 as posted to Steam (also please don't think about how I managed to play 38 hours of it over the past two days)

I'll also say - real Pathologic heads know that in Patho 1, survival in Dankovsky's route was as easy as farming bandits at night and using the trading economy. The real difficulty was dealing with the ruling families and avoiding softlocks and wastes of time, which is the focus of P3 in a sense.

I got one of the (several) endings in Patho 3 last night, I can't say anything more without considerable spoilers but it's incredible and lives up to what my experience with Patho 2 was. Once they hotfix the rest of the late game bugs, it'll be literally perfect.

my biggest worry about patho 3 is that it wouldn't capture the pressure or urgency of patho 2 but i'm on day 9 and my head is just crowded with thoughts and things to keep track of and things to worry about, it really is the dankovsky simulator
