I've been a full-time artist for 10 years this year... and I've never seen opportunities be more lean, or costs of life (including taxes) be higher doing this professionally, full-time, right now? is devastating. even with support or safety nets --

The only thing artists must not do is trace or paint over each other's art for personal or professional pieces. The caveats being for feedback purposes where permission has been obtained in advance, and if an artist explicitly allows for others to modify or make interpretations on their work.
