it should go without saying but if you want users to voluntarily tag their art then you need to not threaten to ban them if they do. like, you can either have a well-regulated, easily-filtered art ecosystem or you can ban art you don’t like and see it come oozing back out of every crack and crevice

actions that will contribute more to pushing against bluesky's censorship than a blackout: -submitting a feedback request -@ing moderation about it -commenting on mods posts about it -making and sharing memes (ex: "i consent!" sticker) -leaving an app store review -just generally posting about it

The restrictions Bluesky is trying to implement on fictional content is idiotic and can very easily be abused by moderation teams. We’ve seen it happen on tumblr already with queer content constantly being flagged after the porn ban. No one wants this. #bskycensorship
