a big thing in therapy for me for YEARS was always struggling to just "be" but after being told i was allowed to care for / accommodate myself for being autistic - it's been mindblowing realizing how much of that struggle to just be, was frm trying to mask 24/7 for most of my life.

do any other audhd-ers feel like they have a special interest in thinking? any other ponderer's out there? like yes there's negative sides to rumination + perseveration but also - making connections through pattern recognition?? thinking abt + questioning things?? it makes me feel carbonated

i think leaving twitter to come here feels symbolic of the moving on + leaving behind i've been attempting in real life. i don't have a plan for this account but maybe it'll be a lil outlet throughout this transformational moment that i keep pausing to speculate on cause moving fast is scary 😝
