I think my favorite part of this is that they don't even mention Wolverine. Everyone gets mentioned except Wolverine and I find that hilarious.

I finished playing through "The Seance of Blake Manor" and it was fantastic. It's a narrative-driven game. It's somewhere between Point & Click Adventure and Blue Prince.

I really want to like this Assassin isekai anime but the pacing is just terrible. There's not enough time to actually be invested in any of the story taking place.

Was reading Uncanny X-Men the other night and the "for the girls and the gays" meme came to mind.

I wound up checking out Gnosia and it's actually interesting. It's basically Among Us as an anime. I did find it interesting that the MC knew what a mechanical pencil was but the computer didn't. Kind of affirms my suspicions about what's actually happening.

"May I Ask for One Final Thing" is good. It shows that slavery exists in its setting and very quickly tells you that the scum involved deserve to die. Very funny that it has an isekai character as the villain too. I imagine the author has some based opinions about Shield Hero.

I've watched the first few episodes of Mechanical Marie and I've got mixed feelings on it. On the surface, it's a fun and cute story, but it gets uncomfortable if I look any deeper. I'll probably watch more of it, but it's likely to be a show I don't actually finish.

I'm digging through all my old game design ideas and realizing how much I don't like them. They're fun ideas, but right now, I don't think I could bring myself to make anything that's merely "fun". I'd have to make something with a heavy narrative. Puzzles would also be good.

I've been playing Dread Delusion and I just find myself sitting on a bunch of quests ready for completion because I'm not sure who to side with. It often feels like the correct choice is to not side with anyone.

Final Fantasy Tactics completed! It's a solid game, but tbh it'd have been fine to quit with that last fight for chapter 3. The latter parts of the story are nowhere near as good as the setup. There's a reason nobody quotes the second half lol.

Digimon Beatbreak seems interesting so far. I'm a bit curious about the setting since it looks like a post-apoc / post-war rebuild era. Also, Tomboy Blaze is a top tier skill name.

I finished reading "You and I Are Polar Opposites" last night and I'm sad it's over. It was a great read and at no point did it feel like the story was meandering. Fun story, great characters, just an all-round good read.

I did clear the Weigraf fight only to deal with the rooftop fight where the AI companion that you have to keep alive. The AI keeps getting themselves killed before they even get a second turn.

I feel like vampires are underutilized. They'd be great for a heist or spy film since they would be invisible to cameras and sensors.

How's Blue Protocol? Specifically, how are the community features? Is it a proper "play with a community" MMO or is it one of those single-player MMOs?

I got to the Weigraf fight in Final Fantasy Tactics... now I remember why I've never finished this game. What a terrible fight. There's nothing to even explain. This fight was notorious back in the day and nothing has been improved.

For better or worse, FF Tactics is the same as it ever was. Scenery is often in the way and some fights just plain suck. Anyway, just ranting because this Wiegraf fight is just awful.

Seeing Megabonk be so popular feels weird to me. I'm not judging the game, it's more like I can't help but feel like people will have forgotten this game by the end of the year. A lot of popular games come and go so fast, it's just weird... but they're always junk food games.

The Assassin isekai has some legs to it. It feels like a mix of new and old. It's got this feel of older fantasy stuff (good) but it has modern "videogame" systems (bad). I want to like it, but I'm feeling extremely skeptical. It's very hard to trust this genre.

My professional experience developing with Unity is simply: This is a nice tool... unless I have to maintain the product for more than one year and then it's a nightmare. I don't think I'd use anything (engine or plugins) that isn't open-source for a live-service product.
