I started watching a film this morning on ITVX, paused it and left the app for a few hours due to life, and I’ve to come resume it, and it’s remembered it from the exact point I paused it at with no glitches or fuck ups. It’s a Christmas miracle!

There’s almost no comfort TV that we all enjoy en masse now. Sad to say but unless the Beeb pulls a trick from up its sleeve, it may be that Gavin & Stacey is the last sitcom that we will watch in numbers.

Random choice of movies today, Hook is on Sky Showcase at 1.00pm and then on Channel 5 at 4.10pm. I guess you can’t have too much Robin Williams and Bob Hoskins in one afternoon.

Depending on Peacock originals isn’t quite the same as having HBO programmes first hand. I think as soon as HBO Max was a thing, this was inevitable, but Netflix acquiring WB won’t do Sky any good for must see shows. However, for as long as Sky has the lions share of Sport, they’ll survive.
