I didn't feel like people-ing today. But I went anyway, and I'm glad I did. It's nice to have good people to surround yourself with and a comforting place to go. Besides my friends I met up with, I always make about a dozen new friends because of these two.

My husband woke up to a phone call at 730am. There was a car fire in the parking lot at work. The fire department got the fire out. Now he's got to deal with the icy aftermath in 15 below, -40 windchill. I feel bad for whoever owned the car, too. It's not a good way to start the day.

We take so much for granted every day. Tonight, in Minnesota, we looked for the Northern lights, with coworkers from Ciudad Juarez. They had never seen stars like this in the sky. Let alone the Northern lights. We had to explain what they were.🥹 At the end of the night, " thanks for the memories."
