I understand that Spurs want to try and sign the best players, but completing a deal for Savinho, Simons, Rogers or Paqueta carries a high chance of failure. While they may not be the perfect solution, it seems Akliouche and Lookman want to join Spurs. They would complete a damn good window. #COYS

The issue is Spurs are aiming high this window, which they should. What if they went to RM/Barca for Rodrygo, Olmo, etc & propose a Tel-like loan? Spurs get their player, player gets his minutes & clubs clear their log jam? Just maybe they like their time & decide to stay at Spurs. Fair? 🧐 #COYS

Realize that this isn’t just a Spurs’ thing, Newcastle have had a similar window. The bottom line is if Levy really wants to win titles, Spurs will need to overpay for the next number of windows to cement Spurs’ identity permanently in the Champions League. Not to splash cold water, but I can’t see how Eze & Savinho would fit together. It seems an either/or, otherwise the squad becomes unbalanced. While individually they aren’t as good, El Khannouss or Elliott would be more seamlessly integrated & overall a better addition. One from each pair. #COYS

Maghnes Akliouche (23) from Monaco, is the player many top clubs want, including PSG. Playing mostly RW & AM, he’s versatile & would probably cost MGW money. Pair his signing with HG Hayden Hackney at 6 (wants to come), shifting Gray to 8 & Spurs’ passing ability will be greatly improved. #COYS
