I've always had the opinion that academic success doesn't always mean smart or possesing common sense. My wife told me about a housemate who was doing a *MASTERS* the same time as she was. Said person used the sandwich toaster, then put it in the washing bowl to soak. Take from that what you will.

I have family and friends in the US. As it currently stands I don't imagine that I'll ever see them in person again. I'd prefer to spend my tourist money elsewhere, you know, places that don't treat you like a criminal when you're just trying to take a holiday.

Just bought one of Marshall's new amp in a box overdrive pedals - the 1959, which is based on the classic Plexi tone amp. It's a beautiful looking pedal and sounds amazing. I've got other great overdrive pedals based on classic Marshall amps and this was half the price.
