If you want a parrot, adopt only and be flexible with what species you want. Do not buy babies, even from a reputable breeder. Be prepared to dedicate to a huge lifestyle change, often for the rest of your life. Your birds always come first. They didn’t ask for this. Until there are none, adopt one.
