The only food Kaine’s ever had a strongly negative opinion about is Archon Loaf from Sharlayan. In his own words: “Seven hells, this tastes like… nothing! This is worse than bad, this hardly qualifies as food at all!” Not one denizen in the star will ever be able to get him to like that shit.

Kaine would be a Sampaguita! A flower that symbolizes promise, hope, and strength. Perfect for an archetypal hero like him. (Also this gives me a neat excuse to apply bits of my culture into Kaine more lol)

I can see Kaine using Braveheart, Ends of the Earth, KH1 Ultima Weapon, or Way to the Dawn. Though I also personally designed a Keyblade for him that was inspired by Ultima and WttD, named Dawnstrider.

6.2 was the first patch I was caught up on! I played the entirety of the MSQ from May to August of 2022 in 6.1 with all of the QoL improvements to ARR, and 6.2 came out a few days after I finished 6.1.

Tomestones and Linkpearls are how Kaine and Shtola generally stay in touch when they’re apart. Sometimes though, if they have important or more personal stuff to send and want to be more discreet, they’ll send the more traditional tightly-sealed letters to each other.

Learning Dancer made Kaine far more precise and flexible, letting him move faster and more gracefully in all of his other Jobs. Also, Monk is his most malleable Job since the muscle memory from his other disciplines continuously molded how he fights with his bare hands and feet.

Uh, if anyone ever has/had a crush on Kaine, he wouldn't really know on account of him being rather dense about knowing if someone was interested in him 💀

The flaw Kaine had to deal with was becoming a bit self-righteous and maybe even arrogant over his heroics due to being "chosen", and letting his hero side nearly take over his human side. Reigning that in and going through a LOT molds him into a true Humble Hero, which balances him as a whole.

Piloting a body that doesn't share his endurance was a lot for Kaine to handle. When he returned to his body, moving in it felt alien for a few moments, and the damage he took in the previous body caught up to him, akin to a phantom pain. He was debilitated for some time after that shitshow.
